Our jewellery pieces from Andrew McCallum are true masterpieces and you can quickly see why. Each item was designed and handmade in Scotland by Andrew himself, having over 35 years of experience in the making of fine jewellery. Great care is taken with each design to ensure the proportions are as realistic as possible. All jewellery in our range is made from Sterling Silver and carry the hallmark of the Edinburgh Assay Office to attest the genuineness of the materials used. Some of the items are even adorned with gemstones like sapphire or citrine.
As all items by Andrew McCallum are designed and manufactured by himself, custom-made designs or modifications are possible. Each item can also be manufactured in gold instead of silver if you wish so. Please contact us if you are looking for custom-made jewellery.
Despite his youthful appearance, Andrew clocked up nearly 40 years of experience in the art of jewellery manufacturing. His career started as a setter in the famous London jewellery district Hatton Garden and later took an apprenticeship as a Goldsmith. Andrew then worked for a number of jewellery companies, both in the UK and abroad, always gaining new skills and experience on the way. It was then time for him to come back to the UK and settle in the tranquil Scottish countryside in Argyll to start his own business. Even though he has a vast knowledge of everything jewellery related, he continues to learn from others as much as he can. Naturally, all of his pieces are designed and handmade by him and after the pieces are cast he polishes and finishes the pieces himself also, and set the stones where necessary.
